ST. LOUIS, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Enhanced Medical Services (EMS), a leading provider of quality new and pre-owned ophthalmic equipment based in St. Louis, MO., announced today the acquisition of Star Ophthalmic Instruments, Inc., a Midwest leader in ophthalmic equipment sales and service for 28 years. This transaction marks the second acquisition made by EMS in the past 18 months, after previously acquiring Universal Ophthalmic Instruments, Inc., in April 2014.
