Both Rubin and Gaines previously worked at Neuberger Berman where they built the firm's Investment Strategy Group.  Rubin was a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, Chief Investment Officer of Neuberger's Trust Company and Chairman of the firm's Asset Allocation Committee.  He was also previously at U.S. Trust, a multi-billion-dollar family office and Morgan Stanley.  Gaines was a Vice President at Neuberger Berman and advised clients in the New York, New England, and Southeast regions on investment policy and portfolio implementation.
