Partnership Brings Kid Favorites to LeapFrog's Fast-Growing App Center

 

 

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF), the leader in educational entertainment, and Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, today announced a partnership to distribute downloadable content through LeapFrog's new digital App Center. Beginning this month, engaging content from hit Nickelodeon animated and educational preschool series, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi, will be available via the App Center.

The first of many, the new video apps include episodes from Dora the Explorer, Bubble Guppies, and Team Umizoomi, that encourage kids ages 2-5 to build their early language and math skills, logic and reasoning, Spanish vocabulary and social skills. Additional episodes from SpongeBob SquarePants (for kids ages 6-9) will also be available for download. 

 

Availability

LeapFrog Learning Apps, MSRP $5-$10, are available for purchase in the LeapFrog App Center which is accessed through the LeapFrog Connect Application for LeapPad Explorer and Leapster Explorer platforms. LeapPad Explorer (MSRP $99.99, for children ages 4-9) and Leapster Explorer (MSRP $69.99, for children ages 4-9) are currently available at major retail locations and at www.leapfrog.com
