Liberty Creek Wines Supports Veterans And Their Families By Partnering With Operation Homefront To Award Five Mortgage-free Homes

MODESTO, Calif., May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Libert­y Creek Wines has joined forces with Operation Homefront in honoring America's heroes to award five mortgage-free, move-in ready homes to military families. Beginning in May and continuing through November 31, consumers can text the word LIBERTY to 313131, and Liberty Creek will donate $5 for every verified text message, up to $48,000.

Homes on the Homefront, an initiative launched by Operation Homefront in 2012, has provided mortgage-free homes and social support services to more than 250 wounded warriors, veterans and their families. In 2013, the program placed 188 families in homes, at a combined savings of more than $41 million in mortgage costs over an average 30-year loan.
