LIFE 75 iPad App Now Available on the App Store

LIFE 75 offers users a new way to experience more than 300 of LIFE magazine's very best photos and covers, and hear the incredible stories behind some of the most iconic photos ever taken. The interactive book app was created in conjunction with The Wonderfactory, a leading provider of large-scale websites and tablet apps for publishers, media companies and advertisers.

LIFE 75 features a unique interactive layout with two different viewing experiences -- the best of LIFE's photographs are presented in landscape view and LIFE's top covers are shown in portrait view. The images capture heroes and villains; the famous and the anonymous; intimate moments and historic events; man-made wonders and breathtaking natural beauty; the horrors of war and the best of humanity.  Users navigate LIFE 75 using a "Decades bar" that allows them to browse all photographs by decade and subject, including:

• "Memorable Moments" --  inside pivotal historical events involving the Kennedys, Martin Luther King, Jr., FDR and others;
