LifeStreet Media Reports Mobile Ad Growth of 250 Percent
Company pays out more than $125 million in ad revenues, processes more than one billion transactions daily
SAN CARLOS, Calif., Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeStreet Media, a leading advertising technology company, today announced all-time record revenues and profits for its fiscal year 2012, ending September 30th, 2012, which marks the company's sixth consecutive year of revenue and profit growth. The company continues to experience exceptional growth in its mobile business as well as within its social in-app advertising business. LifeStreet's mobile advertising revenue is growing at an annualized rate in excess of 250 percent, and the company is now processing more than one billion mobile ad transactions per day. To support this growth, LifeStreet has hired extensively in 2012, increasing headcount by 50 percent and opening a fifth office worldwide.
LifeStreet delivers large quantities of customers at scale for social and mobile advertisers and industry-leading monetization solutions to app publishers. To date, LifeStreet has paid out more than $125 million in ad revenues to publishers and developers and has driven 275 million app installs for its advertising customers. LifeStreet has also seen impressive Facebook app install volume, which has grown 48 percent year-over-year.
LifeStreet's RevJet revenue maximization platform rapidly creates, tests and optimizes variables or "objects" that impact display advertising revenue. This includes visual objects such as headlines, colors, and images, and logical objects, such as trafficking decisions and revenue-maximization algorithms. This high-volume, rapid testing process increases the value of ad impressions, producing higher payouts for publishers and more effective campaigns for advertisers.
"With RevJet's high velocity testing and optimization capabilities, there's no end to what we can accomplish for app developers – whether it's high volume customer acquisition with exceptional return on investment, or creating more revenue for their ad inventory," said Mitchell Weisman, founder and CEO, LifeStreet Media. "The growth of our mobile in-app advertising business represents the biggest market to which we've applied RevJet so far, and both LifeStreet and our app developers are exceptionally well positioned to capitalize on it."
