Lifting Our Community with Kindness

TRUMBULL, Conn., March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Are you looking to connect with other compassionate souls this winter? Yoga Lily Studio is offering classes and events to encourage other yogis and individuals to connect while helping their neighbors and the surrounding community. They want you to bring your mat, an open mind or heart, and dedicate your practice to the greater good of our community.

Yoga Lily Studio owner, Kelly Paige, wants to lift the Trumbull, Monroe, Shelton and surrounding areas by giving them opportunities to make an impact - together!  "If I can build community by valuing and lifting others then I can help to heal all of us who have ever felt alone or unworthy at any time in our lives. It's important for me to create programs for our community to connect, and find ways to support each other. Winter can be a tough time of year to get out and make friends. I want to invite you indoors to our studios, where you can find a warm or friendly environment and people to connect with. I want you to allow your vision for growth or kindness to take shape while connecting with others at our community yoga classes or at one of our upcoming women's wellness events."

Yoga Lily Studio is accepting donations of feminine hygiene products until the end of March to support The Center for Family Justice, a local domestic violence shelter. Bring your donation to their reception desk in Trumbull, let your instructor know, and you'll receive a complimentary Aerial Yoga class (valid for six months and only one per student). Acceptable items for donation are: toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary pads, deodorant, soap or body wash.

During the month of February, attendees explored their romantic sides, learned about environmentally-safe beauty products, painted gratitude rocks, and practiced the art of self-love through the studio's recently launched women's wellness events.

• Thursdays at 7:30PM in Shelton
• Sundays at 10:30AM in Shelton
