LightCMS Enhancements Add Flexibility, Personalization to Platform

These advancements include self-service user profile editing, added user information for easier ecommerce transactions, improved page publishing, an updated Design Manager and more.

Among the new feature enhancements LightCMS has recently added to its platform to help design partners and end users streamline and accelerate business growth and meet client demands are:

Enhanced user profiles. This release brings an expanded user profile page that lets registered users edit their profiles and provide additional information, including: home and cell phone numbers, company/organization, Twitter, Facebook, and home and work address, to give businesses greater insight into their customers and expand the available communication channels. Store users. Enhancements to the LightCMS Store allow customers to create a profile within the company's ecommerce shop, thereby saving them the time of having to re-enter information in future transactions. When logged into their account, customers can easily and securely view their order history and edit any of their shipping, billing, and credit card info. Checkout page customization. Website owners can now modify the look and feel of the checkout page by uploading a header, a logo, adding a background color or adding a heading/text color within the buttons on the page. Learn more.

Updated checkout page. New checkout pages are responsive and provide a more intuitive ordering experience. Learn more.

User registration. The new features allow site owners to specify the custom role to which registered users should be assigned, how it's presented and also allow customized email confirmations. This allows users to register for specific sections or programs on their own. Learn more.
