Little PINK Book's Fall Empowerment Event to Support Women's Advancement and Leadership
PINK'S 14th annual event invites professional women to find out how to Step into Success
ATLANTA, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Little PINK Book, a digital magazine for ambitious career women, will host its 14th annual Fall Empowerment Event featuring some of America's top female business leaders on Monday, Oct. 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta. The "Step into Success" luncheon will gather key leaders to share their personal and career proven success secrets to living the life you want.
"PINK's Signature Fall Empowerment Event will focus not just on how women can attain top jobs, but how to succeed with your full self once you are there; to lead with your heart and soul to benefit not just the business and corporate culture, but all the lives you touch, including our own," says Little PINK Book founder and CEO Cynthia Good.
Author and renowned sports agent, Molly Fletcher, will moderate a panel of leading executives. Participants include:
- Sujata Gosalia, chief strategy officer, Cox Communications
- Catherine Jefferson, chief people officer, The Krystal Company
- Bea Perez, senior vice president & chief communications officer, The Coca-Cola Company
- Larry Quinlan, chief information officer, Deloitte
- Barri Rafferty, president & CEO, Ketchum
The event will start with a networking opportunity with key decision-makers and shopping at the PINK Bazaar followed by a lunch. Attendees will have the chance to build life-changing professional relationships as they sample and shop with local vendors. Over the last 14 years, PINK's networking floor has resulted in multimillion-dollar deals for attendees and established foundations for high-profile business relationships.
"The spring event inspired high potential women to spring into action. Now it is time to use that momentum to step into your power," says Good. The event takes place about a year after the #MeToo movement kicked into high gear and amid significant changes in corporate America.
Over the years, PINK has raised more than $100,000 for nonprofits that benefit organizations geared to women and girls. This year, PINK has partnered with the Alliance Theatre. Attendees can participate in a raffle and items include an all-inclusive two-night stay for two at Canyon Ranch valued at approximately $10,000, an extended test drive in the newest BMW, Alliance Theatre tickets, and more.
Little PINK Book's sponsors include Rigby & Peller who will host the Social Media Lounge. Other patrons include Your Atlanta BMW Centers, Cox Enterprises, SunTrust, The Coca-Cola Company, Deloitte, Ketchum, Southern Company, Southwest Airlines, Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery, Metro Atlanta Chamber and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.
