Local Insight Media Holdings, Inc. Appoints New Interim CEO
DENVER, Jan. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Local Insight Media Holdings, Inc. ("LIMH") today announced that Scott A. Pomeroy, President, CEO and a director of LIMH and its subsidiaries, has decided with the Board of Directors to resign his positions, effective immediately.
Scott Brubaker, who has been serving as the company's Chief Restructuring Officer since October 2010, has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of LIMH. He will remain Chief Restructuring Officer of LIMH.
Scott Brubaker is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal. He specializes in assessing business operations, implementing performance improvement strategies, and driving financial results for companies in transition. Mr. Brubaker has extensive experience with developing reorganization plans and serving in interim executive roles.
Mr. Brubaker's other clients have included Woodside Homes, Eddie Bauer, Webvan Group Inc., Dunmore Homes, Spiegel Inc., Hexcel Corporation, American White Cross, Tri Valley Growers, Primary Health Systems and Sunshine Biscuits. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal in 2002, Mr. Brubaker spent nine years in San Francisco and London with the turnaround practice of Arthur Andersen, where he served as director. Mr. Brubaker earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
