Los Angeles Basketball Star D'Angelo Russell Makes Appearance At The Birchbox Man Shop At The Grove LA

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles point guard and number two draft pick D'Angelo Russell will be joining Birchbox on Saturday, August 29th from 12-1PM at The Grove to celebrate the beauty and grooming retailer's arrival in Los Angeles as part of its summer Road Trip. A nationwide voting campaign named LA one of three cities Birchbox will be visiting this summer and Russell will be on-hand to celebrate the pop-up where he will be hosting a meet-and-greet with fans and signing autographs.

D'Angelo Russell is best known for his incredible scoring ability but his style off the court has been equally as impressive. From his iconic red draft day suit to his steady stream of stylish Instagrams, Russell has proved that his fashion is on point.  Russell's appearance at Birchbox Man's shop will give fans insight into his daily regimen, his plans for the season, how he feels about joining the star-studded team roster, and more. "Birchbox Man gives guys the opportunity to discover different products in a fun way. I am excited to check out the their LA Road Trip shop at the Grove in my new city and meet with the fans," shares Russell.

Birchbox will be transforming two shipping containers (one for women, one for men) into full-service beauty and grooming shops featuring a Build Your Own Birchbox area, subscription offers, free beauty and grooming services on the roof deck garden, and other activities. Consumers can shop a curated assortment of top-rated, full-size products across skincare, hair, makeup, body, fragrance and grooming categories, with a focus on summer essentials.

The Birchbox multi-city tour is a serious step towards the company's offline retail expansion. Birchbox will ultimately open two permanent stores in 2016 (including the first dedicated Birchbox Man store), the locations of which to be influenced by the performance of the shops in each city.
