Lycos Welcomes New Chief Technology Officer and Vice President

WALTHAM, Mass., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lycos, Inc. today announced the appointment of Ned Rhinelander as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.  Rhinelander's extensive experience in management of engineering teams will help to lead Lycos in a strategic refocusing of its engineering resources.

Rhinelander joins Lycos with over 18 years experience delivering publishing and advertising solutions for high-volume consumer media brands.  Most recently he served as VP of IT Architecture at CBS Interactive, delivering solutions in the areas of content personalization and optimization.  Prior to CBS Interactive, in the position of VP of Site Engineering at CNET Networks, he led more than one hundred engineers responsible for website publishing and delivery.  He holds an MBA in High Technology from Northeastern University.
