M2 Telecom Becomes Exclusive Sales Agent for VoIP Innovations

PITTSBURGH, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Arizona-based M2 Telecom signed an exclusivity deal with Pittsburgh-based wholesale telecommunications provider VoIP Innovations, one of the most experienced and respected companies in the VoIP industry.

The agreement makes M2 Telecom the exclusive sales and marketing channel for VoIP Innovations' wholesale and Retail Voice-over-Internet-Protocol solutions. Corey Potts, has been named Vice President of Sales for this effort, while Nick Medina has been named Vice President of Business Development.

"We've had a relationship with M2 Telecom for about 10 years," said VoIP Innovations Product Manager Jason Tapolci. "They have a proven track record of selling and helping companies grow, and we anticipate they will continue that trend with VoIP Innovations."

M2 will be crucial to the sales and marketing success of VoIP Innovations. "M2's longevity and past sales experience were the key factors in choosing to outsource to them," stated Jason Tapolci.

Medina is the CEO of M2; prior to founding M2 in 2002, Medina was an account executive at Electric Lightwave. He is also the Vice President of Marketing for another Pittsburgh-area business, GlobalPOPs. Medina started and sold Quik Internet, a DSL, dial-up and hosting services provider in 2001. Medina received his bachelor of science in Finance from Arizona State in 2000.

Potts was also a founding partner in M2 and has been VP of Sales for GlobalPOPs since 2002. Prior to working for GlobalPOPs, Potts was an Account Executive with Electric Lightwave from 1999-2002. Potts attended Western Washington University where he received his bachelor of science in Marketing.
