MagneGas Expands into South Florida and Latin America Company Hires Welding Industry Gas Sales Specialist Based in Miami
TAMPA, Fla., April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MagneGas Corporation, www.magnegas.com ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MNGA), a technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based fuel, announced today that it hired Jose Prieto of Miami, Florida as a Sales Executive promoting MagneGas® fuel and equipment into South Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Prieto has over 37 years of industrial gas sales experience, primarily working with Praxair, Inc. and AirGas Inc. He brings his wealth of knowledge from the metal cutting industry in the region.
"I have been in the industry for more than 30 years and have seen many new products. I joined the MagneGas team as I was thoroughly impressed with this fuel for metal cutting. I was also extremely impressed by the MagneGas Recycling system due to its highly efficient compact design. The fact that this fuel can be produced locally is a major advantage in some regions of the Caribbean and Latin America where metal cutting fuel is imported at a very high cost. I believe acceptance in the industry will be great and we will see a growing list of happy customers," stated Jose Prieto, Sales Executive, MagneGas.
