Make America Ethical Again: International Economic Justice League Launches Anti-Corruption Programs Ahead of World Anti-Corruption Day
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Economic Justice League, Inc. (IEJL) has just launched its web-based rewards programs at www.iejl.org, as part of its mission to abate corruption and promote ethical business practices across all industries and governments. The web-based programs augment the in-person chapter programs established recently in the USA, Philippines, and Vietnam.
The IEJL programs target college students and early career stage employees. These future leaders are called Pledges, as their first task is to take an oath of ethical commerce. The objective is to create a sub-culture of ethical commerce using informal education and social activities to build a strong community of ethically conscious Pledges.
Pledges participate in our free programs and earn points. As points accumulate, Pledges earn ranks of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Retailers and merchants around the world who support ethical commerce can join our Pledge Discount program and offer discounts to Pledges based on their rank.
IEJL will soon launch its Job Connect career website that will allow employers who support ethical commerce to post jobs and search resumes of Pledges. As an incentive to Pledges to participate in our programs, employers can search for Pledges based on a host of criteria, including award rank. Employers who desire the most ethically aware employees will give preference to Platinum level Pledges.
IEJL's web-based Interactive Content Program allows Pledges to watch, listen, or read their favorite content in almost any genre. As the Pledge consumes the content, they answer three short questions at the conclusion of the piece. If the Pledge answers the questions correctly, they are awarded points.
Interactive content development is an ongoing process. Content can be music, music videos, news, short videos, or written content. To insure the content is interesting, Pledges submit their favorite, public domain content, to share with all Pledges. The content, of any genre, must contain at least a subtle message of an abuse of power for personal gain or an example of an ethical behavior. Points are awarded for approved content submissions.
In-person social activities are an integral part of building a community with a culture of ethical commerce. Pledges earn points for volunteering and participating in their local chapter events.
