Manufacturers to Gain Real-Time Visibility of Shop Floor with New Cost-Effective, Rapid-Time-To-Value Solutions

CHICAGO, Sept. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- itelligence NA and Seeit Solutions today announced a strategic partnership that provides manufacturing companies with rapid-time-to-value solutions that integrate easily with SAP® ERP and other plant floor systems for real-time visibility into shop floor performance and manufacturing assets. The two solutions developed by Seeit, RPM and ICE, are now available to itelligence manufacturing prospects and customers seeking cost-effective solutions for modernizing their shop floor.

ICE, which stands for the "Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) Connect Engine," serves as the foundation for connecting shop floor assets in a manufacturing environment. With the ICE solution, manufacturing companies can easily connect to any test device, PLC, CNC, RFID, scale, checkweigher, etc. – and store that data securely and efficiently.

RPM is a "real-time production management" solution that enables shop floor personnel and management to make better manufacturing decisions. By leveraging the ICE solution for easy machine integration, operators, supervisors and managers on the shop floor have access to real-time KPIs in the form of dashboards, scoreboards and mobile-friendly screens. Built using the SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) application, the RPM solution provides immediate production and process visibility across the plant, as well as complete traceability of manufactured products.
