"China's government is increasing the openness of financial markets recently and trying to encourage outside investors," said Drew Bernstein, managing partner of MarcumBP. "Investors and companies have learned some hard lessons about investing in Chinese companies in recent years, but the China's government has taken steps to improve transparency and create a framework to reduce fraud. This is part of a painful process for investors and the maturation of China's economy to remove the bad actors from financial markets."
The events are free to attend for institutional investors, family offices, private equity and venture funds. To register please go to http://chinabestideasconference.com/registration.htm. Chairman and C-level executives from China's listed companies and companies considering an IPO are welcome to join the "Capital Markets & Accounting Bootcamp: How to Survive & Thrive as a US-listed Company after the Storm" on Sept. 9 at the Four Seasons Beijing.
