Mariner Retirement Advisors Opens Tulsa Office and Receives CEFEX Certification

LEAWOOD, Kan., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mariner Retirement Advisors, a firm headquartered near Kansas City and focused on providing 401(k) advisory services to plan sponsors throughout the country, today announced the opening of its Tulsa office. In addition, the firm recently became the only investment advisor based in Kansas and Oklahoma to hold the CEFEX certification, an independent certification issued by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence, LLC.

The new office will be led by Todd Stuckey and Staci Hitchcock. With nearly two decades of industry experience, Stuckey serves as vice president of retirement plan services, focusing on plan design, compliance and in-depth investment monitoring. Prior to joining Mariner Retirement Advisors, Stuckey was vice president of retirement service sales for Principal Financial Group.

Hitchcock has 15 years of retirement plan experience and also joins the Mariner Retirement Advisors from Principal Financial Group, where she served as an advisor relations associate. In her new role, Hitchcock is an account executive and works to develop strong business relationships and provide quality service to a wide range of retirement plan clients.

The CEFEX standard describes how an investment advisor assumes the responsibility for managing a client's overall investment management process, which includes the selection, monitoring and de-selection of investment managers, as well as developing processes to implement investment strategies and fiduciary practices on an ongoing basis.
