Mark Smith Named Interim President and CEO for Cardinal Bankshares and Bank of Floyd
FLOYD, Va., Nov. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Cardinal Bankshares and the Bank of Floyd today announced that Mark Smith has been named as the Interim President & CEO. Smith's appointment is effective immediately.

Smith has been Chief Lending Officer for the Bank of Floyd since June of 2013 and has 24 years' experience in banking including 12 year in executive management. Prior to joining the Bank he served as the President & CEO of the Big Lake Region for Seacoast National Bank located in Stuart, Florida and as the Chief Lending Officer for Community Bank of Naples located in Naples, Florida. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University as well as the University of Florida's Graduate School of Banking.
