Marken Launches New Allegro Booking Service For Investigator Sites
Company customizes new on-line Maestro App for investigator shipments
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., May 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Marken today announced the launch of its customized, on-line booking tool specifically for investigator sites. The application or App was built as a new service for investigators which simplifies the booking of a sample export shipment from their own local computer or smart phone. The App, now called Allegro was developed in-house by Marken programmers using pre-built templates which allow investigator sites to book sample shipments with only a few simple key strokes. This allows biological samples which require very fast delivery times to reach their destinations without delay.
Allegro will be available to all Latin America sites this month. Once new translations are available, the app will be introduced to the Asia Pacific regions as well as Europe later in 2016.
During Marken's initial survey of more than 1400 investigator sites in Latin America, an overwhelming number of sites expressed strong interest to have access to online data and tools to more easily manage their logistics online. Marken responded immediately with Allegro which has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese. The downloadable App populates all of the required fields into an order to make scheduling and export documentation an easy process, specific to a particular clinical trial and to each investigator site. Participating sites will receive step-by-step instructions and Marken has also dedicated a toll free phone hotline to aid investigator sites which have questions.
