Martin's Potato Rolls are Famous in New York City
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread sponsored the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Coca-Cola that was held in New York City, October 13th through 16th. During the event, Martin's attended and sponsored the Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by Rachael Ray, which is touted as one of the most popular hamburger events on the east coast! Of the 30 competing chefs, 15 used Martin's Potato Rolls to impress the panel of celebrity judges, which included David Burtka, Josh Capon, Jonathan Cheban, Neil Patrick Harris, and Marc Murphy. Once again, attendees showed up in to try burgers, meet stars, and join in the festivities! Congratulations to the Blue Moon People's Choice Award-winner Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, as well as second and third place winners Pig Beach BBQ and Shake Shack, who included Martin's Famous Potato Rolls in their dish.
NYCWFF closed-out on Sunday, October 16 with Coca-Cola Backyard BBQ presented by Thrillist sponsored by National Beef & Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by grill masters Bobby Flay and Michael Symon. The event featured several delicious barbecue recipes created by various chefs, six of whom used Martin's Famous Potato Rolls in their recipes. Martin's rolls have a sweet taste and pillowy texture that is the perfect combination for many BBQ creations, such as Butcher Bar's winning dish that took home both the Thrillist People's Choice Award and Coke and Smoke BBQ Challenge.
Martin's Famous Potato Rolls were used by chefs in other events including Haute Dogs and Champagne hosted by Robert Irvine and the Grand Tasting presented by ShopRite. Shake Shack tied for top honors at Chicken Coupe hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and Andrew Carmellini, with their new Salt & Pepper Honey Chicken on a Martin's Potato Roll.
