Massachusetts Couple Wins First Ever Hearts On Fire Diamond Hunt at Fenway

BOSTON, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hearts On Fire, The World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond®, today announced that Amanda and Mike Kachinski from Peabody, MA took home the grand prize of a $20,000 Hearts On Fire diamond ring at the first ever Hearts On Fire Diamond Hunt at Fenway Park on Sunday, September 30, 2012.

Despite the rain, more than 250 couples from around New England turned out for the trivia and skills competition. The first rounds of competition featured Red Sox baseball trivia, hosted by SCVNGR, a social, location-based gaming platform for mobile phones. The group was then narrowed down to eight final couples who would go on to compete in skill challenges and a scavenger hunt around Fenway Park.

In addition to the grand prize, which was hidden near Pesky's Pole, two runner-up teams – Cindy Laflamme and Randy Kennedy of Pawtucket, RI and Katie Clark and Matt Bain of Boston, MA – also took home Hearts On Fire prizes worth $5,000. All three couples will be invited to meet with a Hearts On Fire Perfection Stylist to select the specific diamond engagement ring or other jewelry design of their dreams.
