Masters Construction and Development completes job-creating expansion of HealthPlan Services Tampa Facility

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Masters Construction and Development is proud to announce the completed expansion of the HealthPlan Services Tampa facility in time to assist with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. The newly renovated 84,000 sq. ft. building will provide the Company with the space for a projected increase of over 1,000 healthcare jobs for the Tampa-bay and hundreds more across the state.

HealthPlan Services, a Tampa company that helps small companies and individuals purchase and manage health insurance policies, acquired the services of Masters Construction, with assistance from Penn Florida and ADS Architects, to provide the build out for their state-of-the-art expansion with a very important request; complete the construction prior to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Masters completed the first part of the multi-phase project on budget and ahead of schedule by over a week, turning the building over to HealthPlan Services in time for a celebratory photo-op with Governor Rick Scott who heralded the boost in jobs the Company will provide as part of the Tampa Bay and Florida economic recovery.
