Matrix Corporate Center surpasses the $1 Million Mark in Broker Commission Payouts
DANBURY, Conn., Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Matrix Corporate Center (MCC) has surpassed the $1 million dollar mark in commissions paid out to date. The goal was reached as The Goddard School, an owner-operated early childhood development center, signed on to a 10,000 square foot space on the first floor at MCC. Also contributing to passing the mark was Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut, who also signed on to a 10,000 square foot space at MCC.
"In an otherwise slow market, our leasing activity continues to flourish," says Aaron Smiles, Director of Operations and Development. "All our commissions are paid in full, with bonuses and on-time. We work with our brokers as a team."
Goddard has a target date opening of April 1, 2013, with a planned enrollment of approximately 140 students. The school will be owned and operated by Ryan and Allison Dell, who own The Goddard School in Brookfield, CT. Occupancy at their Brookfield location is at 98%.
"We look forward to offering another facet of first-class service to our tenants," says Smiles. "Initial projections from Goddard show the school at capacity within 12 months. We are confident of their service, and have also reserved space for potential expansion."
"The Goddard School is now added to a long list of expanding amenities offered at MCC," says Glen Nelson, Chairman and CEO of MCC. "Many firms seek high-end dependable services for themselves and their employees. We are offering that."
Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut signed their lease on January 3rd, 2013. The organization will be occupying approximately 10,000 sq. ft. at Matrix for a term of 18 months while its new headquarters is being constructed on Milestone Road, less than a mile from the Matrix.
MCC offers convenient location, 100-percent covered parking, dry cleaning, banking, Starbucks, cafeteria services, a fitness center and other services.
The Goddard School was represented by Todd Payne, Brian Donahue & Kate Schell of Goodfellow Ashmore. Harold Kurfehs, of Scalzo Commercial Realty, represented Regional Hospice. Matrix Corporate Center was represented in house by Aaron Smiles.
