Matt Ford highlights advantages of Ford models over their fiercest competitors
2015 models of Ford Taurus and Ford Mustang among latest to be compared
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- When it comes to the automotive market, there is no arguing that Ford and Chevy are two of the biggest competitors. Both of the automakers feature lineups with similarly-equipped models that include everything from sports cars to heavy duty pickups, but while the models from Ford and Chevy are similar, vehicles in the Ford lineup offer a number of advantages. It's a claim backed by the Ford model comparisons recently conducted by Matt Ford, an award-winning dealership located a few miles east of Kansas City.

The most recent model comparison takes a look at the 2015 Ford Taurus vs 2015 Chevy Impala. The full-size cars are among the first 2015 models to be released this year, and while both have received some upgrades, when it comes to space, power and price, the Taurus reigns supreme. The flagship sedan is made available with a 3.5-liter V6 that is slightly smaller than the six-cylinder found in the Impala, but as it's rated at 365-horsepower, it's more powerful than the 305 horsepower of the full-size Chevy offering.
In the trunk, the Taurus is able to swallow just over 20 cubic feet of cargo. The trunk capacity of the 2015 Chevy Impala, on the other hand, is just under 19 cubic feet. Although the size difference is not significant by any means, it is enough to make a difference. For that reason, consumers who require more space in the back are sure to find that the 2015 Ford Taurus is the vehicle most capable of suiting their needs.
In addition to the full-size car comparison, Matt Ford recently took a look at the 2015 Ford Mustang vs 2015 Chevy Camaro. Official numbers for the upcoming, redesigned Mustang have been announced, and as expected, they are slightly higher than those of the Camaro. The proven V8 engine found in previous generations of the original pony car has been refined which will allow it to deliver 435 horsepower, a step above the 426-horsepower rating of the eight-cylinder found beneath the hood of the Camaro.
