Max & Erma's Closes Out National Hamburger Month with Free Slider Day on Memorial Day, May 27
The restaurant group plans to give away more than 12,000 sliders
COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In a fitting tribute to National Hamburger Month in May, Max & Erma's Restaurants, home of the Best Cheeseburger in America, is giving a free slider to every guest with the purchase of a beverage.
Last year, more than 11,000 sliders were given out on Free Slider Day. This year, Max & Erma's wants to give out more than 12,000 sliders as it brings its National Hamburger Month celebration to a close.
Max & Erma's celebrated National Hamburger Month in style by:
- Hosting Max's National Landfill Challenge where contestants in each restaurant competed to see who could consume the famed four-pound Landfill Burger (three, 10-oz. hamburgers layered with pepper jack, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, topped with Erma's Chili, jalapenos, ham, pulled pork, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and onion) the fastest.
- Unveiling two new limited time only burgers -- the Wisconsin Cow Tipper Burger, a Cheesehead's dream come true, topped with breaded American cheese, and Tony's Bodacious Bacon Burger, hand-crushed burger topped with creamy roasted garlic cheese spread & savory bacon marmalade.
- Rewarding guests for their patronage. During the month of May, guests who ordered at least one of the featured burgers each week throughout the month will receive a free hamburger on their Good Neighbor Reward card, for a future visit.
