Mazda Appoints Eric Booth As Senior Manager Of Public Relations

IRVINE, Calif., July 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced the appointment of Eric Booth to the newly created position of Senior Manager, Public Relations in the Public Relations and Brand Experience Department. 

Booth, a 13-year automotive industry veteran specializing in public relations and media communications, joins MNAO following seven years at Hill+Knowlton Strategies where he led the Mazda account.  Prior to that, he held various public relations positions at Nissan North America, Inc. in both the Nissan and Infiniti divisions.

In his new role, Booth will be responsible for managing MNAO's public relations division, including product, corporate and internal communications.  He will report directly to Jeremy Barnes , Director, Public Relations and Brand Experience, and will be based out of MNAO's corporate headquarters in Irvine, Calif. 

Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, Calif., and oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States and Mexico through more than 700 dealers.  Operations in Mexico are managed by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City.
