McCann Health Agency, McCann Echo, Wins Titanium Award for Best in Show at MM&M Awards for Galderma's Soolantra
North America's McCann Echo, McCann Torre Lazur, McCann HumanCare, McCann RCW and McCann Global Health Win 7 Awards plus Titanium Award
NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- McCann Health, the world's most creatively awarded professional and consumer health communications network, today announced that McCann Echo, one of its North American agencies, was awarded the coveted, first-ever, Titanium Award for Best in Show at the Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) awards show for its breakthrough digital campaign for Galderma's launch of Soolantra, a topical rosacea cream. The MM&M Awards recognize and champion creativity and effectiveness in healthcare marketing communications.
In addition to the Titanium Award, McCann Echo's branded effort for Galderma's Soolantra won two gold and three silver awards. McCann Torre Lazur won gold for its #worthliving social media campaign. McCann Global Health, McCann HumanCare and McCann RCW won silver for their Zinc+Ors campaign on behalf of the joint Abt Associates, Clinton Health Access Initiative and USAID program that uses digital integration to simplify access to information that can save children's lives.

Results for the Soolantra campaign were outstanding. According to MM&M, after just eight weeks on the US market, Soolantra commanded a 6.2% market share of the overall topical rosacea market (9.7% share in the dermatology segment). A post-launch survey revealed that 60% of physicians were aware of the brand. At awards submission time, prescriptions were averaging nearly 5,000 per week and total revenue was tracking above forecast.
