McGuireWoods Partner to Compete in Battle of the Business Bands

HOUSTON, May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- McGuireWoods LLP partner David Ronn will compete Thursday, May 19, 2011, in the fifth annual Battle of the Business Bands at the House of Blues in Houston. His rock band, Backspace, is one of six groups selected to play in the show, which will begin at 6 p.m., following the Houston Business Journal's 2011 "40 Under 40" awards program.

The bands, led by CEOs and executives of Houston-based companies, will be judged by a team of local executives and disc jockeys. The audience will then vote for their favorite band after the six performances.
