MCNA Dental Begins Utah Medicaid Contract

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MCNA Dental began serving members enrolled in the Utah Medicaid Dental Program on September 1, 2018, as a dental benefits manager contracted with the Utah Department of Health. MCNA Dental is one of two dental managed care organizations serving approximately 250,000 Utah Medicaid enrollees statewide. MCNA Dental currently administers dental benefits for 4.2 million children and adults in Texas, Florida, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Arkansas, with operations in Washington beginning soon.

MCNA Dental's Utah plan is led by two Utah-based pediatric dentists, Dr. Barney Olsen and Dr. David Stewart. As Co-Dental Directors, Dr. Olsen and Dr. Stewart guide plan operations to ensure MCNA Dental's Utah members receive access to the high quality, compassionate dental care and services that they deserve.
