Meadow Williams' Screenplay Set for Production This Summer
Meadow Williams -- actress, producer, and now screenwriter -- is set to begin production of her own screenplay, "The Trophy," sometime this summer.
LOS ANGELES, April 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In addition to acting, Meadow Williams also writes and produces, and this summer, one of her screenplays is slated to begin production. The story, currently titled "The Trophy," is a psychological thriller.
"I'm so excited to begin production. Writing the story was so much fun, and I can't wait to see the characters brought to life on the screen," says Meadow Williams. "I've worked closely with other screenwriters, and I know how satisfying it can be to actually see what you've envisioned."
The movie, according to Meadow, will be one that leaves you thinking, "What the heck just happened?"
"I don't want to give too much away, but I will say that the main character is complex -- both crazy and compelling. And I'll leave what the trophy is to your imagination," Meadow says with a smile. "I've played some crazy characters, like Mother Supreme in Office Downe, but I think this character takes the cake."
"I have a feeling the audience will love this one," says Meadow Williams. "The word trophy may never have the same meaning again."
Right now, they are ironing out the pre-production details, talking about casting and locations. Casting and location scouting should begin this spring, followed by set building and, finally, shooting the film. If all goes according to plan, they will begin filming late this summer.
