The 2012 Best in Test Product Awards recognize innovations released between November 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011 that have made an especially significant contribution to the test industry. Each year finalists are selected from among the nominees by Test & Measurement World's editors, after which Test & Measurement World's engineering audience are invited to vote for the winners using an online ballot. Test & Measurement World then uses a combination of these audience votes and balloting by its editorial staff to determine the Best in Test winners.
The USB-2408 Series are USB-based DAQ devices offering 16 voltage or 8 thermocouple inputs and up to two analog outputs, plus eight digital I/O, and two counter inputs. The USB-2408 Series provides up to 1 kS/s sampling, ideal for capturing low or medium speed signals. The USB-2408 Series features a 24-bit ADC which provides superior accuracy and noise performance. Starting at only $599, they offer exceptional value for a 24-bit DAQ device.
A range of software options are included with the USB-2408 Series, including out of the box TracerDAQ™ along with comprehensive support for Visual Studio® and Visual Studio® .NET, DASYLab®, NI LabVIEW™, and MATLAB®. Also included is Measurement Computing's DAQFlex open-source software framework which provides support for Windows®, Linux®, and Mac® operating systems.
