Chasing Mercury by September Williams is a romance-suspense-memoir about love in the time of mercury poisoning. It is the first book of a "Toxic Trilogy." A Black epileptic ballerina and a Powwow dancer whistleblower journalist meet in the Montreal Airport. They are both scheduled to dance in Berlin, 1973, Cold War Berlin. Reader Reviewers say, Chasing Mercury is about falling in love and into a life of daring… an exploration of our deepest emotions pulling you headlong into a journey leaving you waiting eagerly for the next book in the series… the best of the romance genre, wrapped in an introduction to human and environmental rights…a lyrical, erotic and embodied prose of resistance and resilience…Oh so relevant to [NOW].
