TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Security Card Company (MSC) was recognized by the Southwest Alliance for Excellence (SWAE) for completing Level 1 of the Steps to Excellence Journey at SWAE's annual awards banquet held February 1, 2016 in Scottsdale. Christy Kowalewski, Manager, Quality Systems, represented MSC at the event.
SWAE is a regional member of the Alliance for Performance Excellence, a national network of state and regional programs that use the Baldrige Framework and Criteria to improve the performance of businesses and organizations.
The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program and Award is a Presidential award and education program dedicated to improving and recognizing U.S. companies for their achievements in quality and business performance. The criteria set by the Baldrige Program are rigorous and designed to assist organizations operate at the top level of performance and customer service.
Jerry Parker, MSC Vice President of Technology and Client Operations, and Kowalewski, have been SWAE members for several years, as well as serving on the SWAE Board of Examiners.
