Medical Staffing Network and W3D Announce December "Nurse of the Month" Winner

CARBONDALE, Ill., Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Staffing Network Healthcare, LLC (MSN) announced today the Nurse of the Month contest winner for December. The contest, which MSN has been co-sponsoring with local Carbondale radio station 107.3 W3D, honors exceptional local nurses. It was promoted during drive-time radio, and nominations were open to the public via the station's website.

December's Nurse of the Month winner is Julie Watson , LPN, from DuQuoin, IL. One of the two people who nominated her was the doctor who employs her in his private practice in Carterville, IL, Dr. Douglas Brown . He said, "I bought this practice two years ago and my nurse, Julie, came with the practice. She's my right arm. She knows her patients very well and can answer any question I have about them. Not to mention that the patients LOVE her. I couldn't ask for a more devoted nurse than Julie is to her job and patient care. She also drives 45 minutes one way to work and never complains. I appreciate her to the moon and back."

Ms. Watson was excited about winning the Nurse of the Month Contest, stating, "My staff found out about the award even before I did. That was a real surprise!"

On December 12th, MSN's Carbondale Branch Manager, Shelley Zeigler , and Janet Carey from W3D presented the prizes to Julie at their offices. The prizes included Marion H.S.
