RAMSEY, N.J., July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Memory Care Living announced today that its board of trustees has chosen Amber Williams as the organization's new chief operating officer and vice president, both new positions to the company.
Michael Eisle a member of the board of trustees applauds Williams on her appointment as COO and VP. "Amber is determined and uniquely qualified. We wanted someone whose ideas would make us different. She is passionate about the business and I have tremendous confidence in her ability to lead operational practices and help expand our organization," Eisle said.
Williams will be responsible for ensuring operational success throughout all Memory Care Living communities. She will be implementing strategies to drive the next phase of operational innovation. The organization's mission is to change the assisted living and dementia industry.
"We are moving away from the standard accepted practice of a medical model toward a practice centered on the resident as a person. We want to extend his or her life with Alzheimer's instead of mitigating their decline," Williams said.
Prior to this appointment Williams, 32, was regional operations officer at a company based in Texas. In that role she built up the business to work smarter. She has over 12 years of experience in operations. Williams graduated with a Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma. She is an avid skydiver, going at least once a month.
