Men in New York City, Los Angeles and Houston Really, REALLY Want a Date...From Russia and Ukraine! Online Data Reveals Top U.S. Cities for the Most Adventurous Daters!
NEW YORK and MOSCOW, June 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Men in New York City, Los Angeles and Houston know something about dating that most men in the rest of the U.S. don't. They know that the most interesting women in the world might not only be found in the bars, restaurants and bookstores in their cities but also online and from Russia, Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
According to new data pulled from the leading international dating website AnastasiaDate.com, New York men topped the list of international love seekers by logging online and looking for "the one" more than 31,000 times over the past 30 days. Following closely behind were men from Los Angeles, who logged on more than 28,000 times, and those from Houston, who logged on more than 20,000 times.
These men are among the most eligible bachelors who tend to be between the ages of 35-55, have professional jobs (their incomes average over $100,000 per year) and are successful in their lives—but they're all missing that one piece to feel "complete."
"The women I've met on AnastasiaDate are different from those I've met in clubs or in airport lounges in the U.S. Russian and Ukrainian women are more focused on developing meaningful relationships and are less focused on material things," said Preston Brent, an AnastasiaDate user from Beacon Falls, Connecticut. "I have been dating for a number of years, but until I met the love of my life on AnastasiaDate, I didn't know what I was missing."
Other U.S. cities with a high number of men who are looking overseas for love include Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco and Austin. A recent Harris Interactive survey showed that American men who choose to date internationally tend to be more worldly and tech-savvy, as well as have higher salaries, than those who only date locally. In total, almost 1.2 million men have logged onto AnastasiaDate in the past couple of weeks.
"Successful American men have seen it all and done it all, but many of them just haven't found 'her' yet," said Lawrence Cervantes, AnastasiaDate's Chief Communications Officer. "AnastasiaDate gives these men a window into a whole new world of women. Yes, they are beautiful, intelligent and cultured, but the real attraction is that these women are passionately interested in who these men really are—not what they do, what car they drive or how big their bank accounts are. Russia and Ukraine used to seem so far away, but thanks to technology, these places are just as close as the towns located right outside of major U.S. cities."
Not only are more Americans logging onto AnastasiaDate to find international love these days, but the U.S. is also the number one country to utilize the website in a list that includes 210 different areas of the world, including the U.K., Canada, Australia, India and France.
"Americans are clearly not as ethnocentric as people may believe," continued Cervantes. "The choice to date internationally demonstrates the importance of connecting men and women from different backgrounds and cultures across the globe. These couples can learn from one another and share a unique experience that is both stabilizing and life-changing for both people involved."
