MONTVALE, N.J., Jan. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz presents the latest in safety systems and sustainable drivetrains at the Washington Auto Show at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from Friday, February 1st to Sunday, February 10th. As the inventor of the automobile, Mercedes-Benz has a rich history in developing and implementing breakthroughs in safety systems and cleaner, more efficient power under the hood. At this year's show, the Mercedes-Benz display features models showing the diversity of the brand's progressive innovations.
To highlight Mercedes-Benz safety and security developments, the "Eyes" of a Mercedes installation, featuring Mercedes-Benz intelligent drive sensors on the all-new 2014 E-Class, shows how the vehicle sees various triggers while operating to initiate semi-autonomous driving and braking.
