Villano graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned his Master's in Business Administration degree from Northwestern University. He is a CPA and started his career as a Public Accountant followed by increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing and finance with McGraw Edison, Citicorp and Transamerica Finance. He spent 10 years with Harley-Davidson Financial Services gathering broad experience internationally and in the US in strategy, sales, marketing, operations, quality and finance. As COO, he led the project that established Harley-Davidson's Eaglemark Bank and he played a key leadership role in the company's rapid and profitable growth.

During his tenure as COO at Merchants since 2008, Glen worked with senior leadership to establish and develop a multi-million dollar enterprise management system to sustain business operations. As a result, the company experienced dramatic net income and vehicle unit count growth. Appointed as CEO, Glen plans to continue best-in-class operational excellence by building a strong management team and technological advancements to benefit employees and most importantly, Merchants' valued clients.
