COOKEVILLE, Tenn., March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Four successful contract packaging and re-packaging companies in the pharmaceutical industry recently joined forces to create a new, single-source industry leader called Aphena Pharma Solutions.

Aphena is a new corporation based on a strategic alliance between Celeste Contract Packaging, PrePak Systems, TestPak and Integrated Pharmaceutical Packaging; all long-term specialized leaders in the contract pharma and personal care packaging, re-packaging and manufacturing industry.

PrePak Systems of Cookeville, Tenn., TestPak of Whippany, New Jersey, and Integrated Pharmaceutical Packaging of Kentucky will become the solid dose division of Aphena Pharma Solutions, offering turnkey contract packaging and repackaging for the pharmaceutical, OTC, nutraceutical, animal health and consumer product markets.  Four locations offering a vast array of packaging options; low and high volume bottle filling, blister packaging (cold & thermoforming), custom pouching, compliance packaging, unit-dosing / unit-of-use packaging, kitting, and secondary packaging for solid dose products.
