ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Don Welch, president and CEO of Merit Network, Inc., announced his support for the Promoting Cybersecurity and Protecting Critical Infrastructure of the National Broadband Plan released by the Federal Communications Commission today.  On October 2, 2009, Dr. Welch took part in the FCC's Cyber Security Workshop as part of the development of this plan.
