Mesa Labs Signs Partnership Agreement With Masy Systems
LAKEWOOD, Colo., March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Laboratories, Inc. (Nasdaq: MLAB), a Lakewood, Colorado based manufacturer of electronic instruments and disposables, today announced it has signed a strategic Distributor Agreement with Masy Systems, Inc., a Massachusetts based company, and the two companies have agreed to cooperate in market development activities.
Since 1984, Masy Systems has been providing quality services for the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device and chemical industries. Masy's staff includes engineers and technicians with years of experience in pharmaceutical validation services, chamber testing, equipment calibration, and biopharma storage. Masy is also a key supplier of measurement equipment to healthcare companies through their rental and sales programs and has a primary standards lab for performing precision calibration services. Mesa Labs was founded in 1982 and manufactures instruments and disposable products utilized in connection with industrial applications and healthcare. Products include DataTrace data loggers which are used for quality control applications in pharmaceutical, food, and medical device manufacturing; medical meters used for quality control in dialysis clinics; and Raven Biological Indicators used for quality control of sterilization processes in hospitals and dental offices, along with pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
The partnership between Mesa Labs and Masy Systems will allow Masy to sell Mesa's DataTrace temperature, humidity and pressure data loggers in the Northeast area of the United States. Additionally, Masy will begin to use the DataTrace line of data loggers for their validation services and rental businesses going forward. Masy will be primarily adopting the new DataTrace Radio Frequency real-time transmitting loggers for the majority of their services operations. Other aspects of the partnership agreement include joint development of solutions for clients throughout the United States and potentially other international regions.
