BOSTON, Feb. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston's own, "The MET Restaurant Group" headed by Kathy Sidell, President and Founder, will be returning to Boston victorious after her and her team have won the Red Robin's Best of the Bash Award at the 2016 Amstel Light Burger Bash® in Miami Beach as part of the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE.

The award along with a $10,000.00 cash prize was awarded after Sidell and her team delighting guests with her "The Jacques Burger," an homage to her late Father; the very man that not only fostered Kathy's culinary creativity, but helped jump start the restaurant scene in Boston many years ago.

The festival's iconic Amstel Light Burger Bash® presented by Schweid & Sons was hosted by Rachael Ray underneath signature white tents while guests graze on carefully curated offerings from top burger chefs and sip on refreshing Amstel Light lager beer and wines from the Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida portfolio.

An esteemed panel of judges, including David Burtka, Neil Patrick Harris, Natalie Morales, George Motz, Marcus Samuelsson and more decided who would receive this year's awards for Best Burger.
