Methodist McKinney Acquires Downtown Surgery Center

MCKINNEY, Texas, Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Methodist McKinney Hospital is proud to announce they have recently acquired an outpatient surgery center, located at 1505 Harroun Street, just two miles from the downtown square in McKinney.  Immediate plans are to remodel the facility and expand service offerings. The remodel, which begins in late January, aims to recreate the surgery center's exterior to better align with the aesthetic of downtown McKinney. Construction is expected to be complete in early February, and the surgery center will reopen shortly thereafter.

Methodist McKinney Hospital has retained the facility's five primary physicians: Drs. Michael Adams, MD, Stephen Morgan, MD, and Lynn Rodgers, MD, specializing in orthopedic surgery; Dr. Craig Chambers, MD, who specializes in pain management; and Dr. Lee Brock, MD, specializing in pain management and anesthesia. The surgery center will provide a wide variety of surgeries with a primary focus on orthopedics and pain management, addressing common issues such as ACL tears, fractures, sports injuries and back and neck pain.

In addition to his role as president of Methodist McKinney Hospital, Minissale will also serve as the surgery center's administrator.
