MFC Global Investment Management Appoints Jacqui Allard As Global Chief Operating Officer
- New Position Reflects Significant Growth of MFC Global's Operations
TORONTO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacqui Allard has been named Global Chief Operating Officer of MFC Global Investment Management, J-F Courville, MFC Global's President and Chief Executive Officer said today. Her appointment is effective immediately.
Based in Toronto and reporting directly to Mr. Courville, Ms. Allard is responsible for all information technology, operations, performance analytics, product and corporate marketing functions worldwide. She is a member of MFC Global's Management Committee.
"Since joining us in 2008, Jacqui has made invaluable contributions to our rapid and ongoing growth," said Mr. Courville. "Her leadership on the ongoing strengthening of our infrastructure globally has helped position the organization to continue to grow and serve our clients."
Before joining MFC Global as Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, she was a senior vice president at State Street Corporation where she had held various senior technology, operations and client management positions. Her career has included assignments in Boston, Toronto, Sydney, Dublin and London.
Ms. Allard graduated with a BAH in Economics from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and later earned an MBA from Bentley Graduate School of Business in Waltham, Massachusetts.
She is also on the board of directors of the Investment Counsel Association of Canada and is Chair of the Board of Serve!, a Toronto-based charity.
