IRVING, Texas, May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- June 1 is Drawing Day all across the world, and to celebrate, Michaels will give away free sketch books to the first 50 children to participate in Kids Club® classes at each of its 1,100+ stores that Saturday.
Drawing Day is a worldwide event established in 2008 to encourage everyone to "drop everything and draw" to show appreciation for art, artists and illustrators. Michaels craft specialists will show Kids Club participants sketching techniques in half-hour sessions that start at 10:00, 10:30 and 11 a.m. Each session is just $2 per child ages three and up.

Michaels Kids Club classes are held every Saturday at all U.S. and Canada stores from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and each week a different craft or skill is highlighted.
