The app also includes veteran employment resources such as a job search function from Monster, the parent company of Military.com. The app allows the user to search for upcoming job fairs and leverage tools to translate their military skills to corresponding civilian occupations. The app is designed for all members of the armed forces (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard) and members of the National Guard and reserve components.

The app tailors the transition experience to the user, acknowledging that veterans are a diverse group of people with different needs. A senior officer or enlisted person with 20-plus years in the service will have very different transition needs than a junior officer or enlisted member with four to eight years of service.
