Craig Thummel initially announced his 2016 retirement late last year and began establishing a "NEXTGEN PLAN" to equip the company for a seamless transition into its next chapter. He will continue in an advisory role through August 31, 2016.
"Craig deserves many thanks for his hard work in placing Millar on a solid path for the future. During his twelve years of leadership and guidance, Millar successfully navigated a series of critical challenges that tested both our resolve and our ability to meet customer needs, all while completely rebuilding the company's foundation. His steady hand in managing Millar was instrumental in getting us where we are today," stated Russell Millar, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Millar looks forward to its next generation of leadership that will focus on growing the company through new product innovations, OEM opportunities, and worldwide collaboration.
