LAS VEGAS, Dec. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Miracle Flights, the nation's leading health and welfare flight organization, reported 492 flights coordinated for those in need of out-of-state medical care during November 2015. This comes as an increase from the 490 and 436 November flights reported in 2014 and 2013, respectfully.
Mark E. Brown, National CEO of Miracle Flights, said, "There continues to be an increase in the need for air travel to out-of-state medical facilities, and our donors make it possible for us to help get these kids the care they desperately need."
Brown was quick to point out that the organization puts no limit on the number of flights someone can receive.
"Many conditions have no cure, and most require multiple surgeries, treatments and appointments with specialists," he added. "We hope the holiday season will encourage more people to open their hearts and wallets to ensure those in need have the best chance at a longer, healthier future."
