Mirixa Selected by Care1st Health Plan

RESTON, Va., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --  The Mirixa Corporation is pleased to announce that Care1st Health Plan has selected the MirixaPro^sm  platform for the delivery of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services to its eligible Medicare members in California.

The Care1st selection committee made its decision based on the advanced clinical-rules, based logic and intuitive user interface of the MirixaPro platform.  Dr. Jorge Weingarten, Chief Medical Officer at Care1st explains, "We were looking for more than technology.  We wanted a partner who could help us evolve our services to members in ways that would improve member health and assist us in meeting all regulatory requirements.  Mirixa demonstrated that range of capabilities to us."
